The big boss threw all his slides into a Powerpoint and went home to work. He wanted to copy the file down through Parallels RAS (using Windows Explorer remotely) and save it to his local drive. Total fail. When the session is logged in, he sees a profile from the RAS server, but not his local C: drive. How can we best configure things so that he can copy or save files (from Windows Explorer, Outlook, etc.) to his local drive? Am I just overlooking something obvious? Thanks, Rich
Greetings @RichardS14 Parallels Client for which operating system are we considering within this scenario please? In Windows everything should be pretty straight headed: In Parallels Client Connection Properties - 'Local Resources" tab please make sure that system drives are set to redirect into remote session. Second thing to ensure is that no GPO is configured to block drive redirection into RDS session. If both of this requirements are met then user will see his redirected local drives as a mapped network drives within RDS session. Attaching screenshot just for reference. Don't hesitate to reply to this thread in case if you will have any questions. Cheers!
