Hello, I have a Windows 10 virtual machine running on a Mac and want to connect to a wireless network that is protected by group policy / certificates. The Mac host cannot connect to this network as it is not on the windows domain and does not receive group policy from the windows active directory domain. The Windows 10 guest is on the domain and does have the correct certificates / polices but I am unsure if it is possible to connect to a different wifi network from the host?

Yes, you can connect your Windows 10 alone to the wireless network. You can connect an USB wireless dongle to the Mac and select Devices>External Devices>USB Wifi Dongle then your VM will connect directly to the work network.

Thanks Ajith, can you do this using the builtin wifi on the MacBook Air as well or only a USB dongle?

You can try changing the default adapter on Mac to ethernet then change network mode to bridged mode and network adapter as WiFi then check.
