Hello, Hopefully, I am posting this to the correct forum. Outlook has stopped indexing, in the windows environment (Non-VM) it is possible to right click on a file, click properties --> Advanced --> check include in Index. When i try to do this in Parallels, the "Advance" option icon is not available. How doe one ensure the file is marked for indexing. It is taking approximately 6 hours to index 5 items in Outlook. Manjo, Thank you for the information. I ended up creating a new virtual machine .... parallels made it easy. Thank you for the instructions, I was looking to back up parallels. You were correct the problem was Window not Parallels. Joe
