    Hi,

I am running Windows 7 on Parallels 11. My Windows has been incredibly slow lately and keeps freezing/crashing. Resetting it allows it to work for another day or so before having to reset again, and it is slow. I am thinking of reinstalling Windows, but am not sure what happens to my data that is shared across my Mac and Windows (in particular, family photos). My guess is these photos remain intact - and, if not, a restore from Time Machine should hopefully achieve that too - but I'd like to be sure before I take that step of reinstalling Windows from scratch...

    Thanks!

If you all your data is saved on your Mac then even if the virtual machine is deleted those data will be intact but if you delete any files from Windows side which is saved on Mac then those files will be deleted permanently.
