I'm doing application testing on different system versions and need guest systems to have the same hardware uuid as the host because of the way the builds are signed. I've been digging documentation and forums and found how to change serial number, but nothing on changing the hardware uuid. Judging by a large number of posts it seems a lot can be accomplished via boot flags, but haven't found anything specific to my problem. Is it possible to either set it to the same value as host or manually set a custom value? P. S. I'm talking about `ioreg -l | grep IOPlatformUUID` one.

Hi there. The feature/functionality you are referring to doesn't exist with Parallels Desktop. The closest thing to what you're asking for is navigating to Hardware -> Network 1 -> Advanced Settings in the virtual machine configuration window (refer to this article for details) and clicking on 'Generate' to create a new Mac address. Not the answer to your query, but just saying.
