Question: Parallels 13 Student Edition Upgrade

Hello. I'm a newbie.

I have Parallels 12 Student Edition installed on my mac. I would like to purchase the Parallels Student Edition 13. When I click on the link, it takes me to OnTheHub where I can purchase it for a discount. I have just a few questions about the install process.

1. Is this a full version or the upgrade? OnTheHub
2. How do I install Parallels 13 over 12? How do I preserve my existing Windows virtual os?

 

Hi @AlexanderT2 , you will be getting the full version of Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac from On the Hub. Once you install Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac 12 will be automatically removed.

 

Hi Support... is necessary to pay to upgrade from 12 to 13 if you have already purchased 12 from 'On the Hub' ?

 

Hello @DannyL2 , Free upgrade to version 13 is only eligible for a subscription based license. Since you have a perpetual license, you have to purchase an upgrade license for version 13.
