Hi I'm using mac 10.7.5 OS and was running windows7 through parallels 7. My system froze up yesterday and I couldn't do anything in either operating system so I had to shut the computer completely off. When I turned it back on i got an error parallels side that said couldn't read from hard drive and so i had to reload parallels and windows 7. I reloaded parallels twice because I didn't know what I was doing. My problem is I need files from windows and have no idea if I can retrieve them. The windows side is working fine now. When I go to finder I see parallels and all 3 versions I loaded 7, 7.1, 7.2. All three have different hard drive sizes so I'm hoping the info is still there but how do i try to acces my files. I'm a newbie on the mac side so please forgive me if my explanation isn't too good. Is tech support a good option? has anyone used it.

    Hi fino67,

    - Locate the .pvm file (http://kb.parallels.com/117333)
    - Right Click on .pvm file -> Open With -> Parallels Mounter.
    - The Windows VM hard-disk file will be visible in the Macintosh HD.

    Thanks,
    Abdul
