Hi to everyone, i know it's a problem discussed and discussed but i cannot find the right way. In particular i have: -v 4.6.0 Kalilinux -v 11 Parallels In order to install parallels tool, i preliminary type on install parallels tool on the border line of parallels, and when i get the parallels tool CD, i copy the content in a folder on desktop directory. Then i set up the right permission with sudo chmode 777 'directoryname' -R (as a tutorial suggest), but when i gotta launch sudo ./install the new directory, this is the error message: An error occurred while installing the following packages: linux-headers-4.6.0-kali1-amd64 dkms kpartx printer-driver-postscript-hp Is there a way to install this tool on Parallel? Please, help me.
i hope you mean this: # deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 2016.1 _Kali-rolling_ - Official Snapshot amd64 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20160830-11:29]/ kali-rolling contrib main non-free #deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 2016.1 _Kali-rolling_ - Official Snapshot amd64 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20160830-11:29]/ kali-rolling contrib main non-free
You may add these lines into /etc/apt/sources.list: deb http://http.kali.org/kali sana main non-free contrib deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali sana main non-free contrib # Security updates deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security sana/updates main contrib non-free and try restart Parallels Tools installation again.
