I'm planning ahead to try to keep my Hasselblad Flextight scanner functional. It uses proprietary software that is 32-bit and will, one day, be unable to run on moder macOS systems. I don't think Hasselblad will upgrade it given the small market for film scanners. Currently, Parallels 12 running a VM of Snow Leopard will run that software, but can't see the scanner as it connects to the host machine by Firewire. Is there any way to make it available on the VM?
    Thanks!

Unfortunately its impossible to pass Firewire scanner into virtual machine in Parallels Desktop.

How about a camera, Parallels 13 windows 7 VM. Works fine via bootcamp, but in Parallels I get a dcam not compliant error.

Can you use a camera hooked up via Firewire in Parallels 13?
