I am using Parallels 13 and Fedora 27. I recently updated the standard Fedora apps and now when Fedora boots I get a blank screen. What is interesting a new line appears in the boot menu "Fedora (4.15.13-300.fc27.x86_64) 27 (Workstation Edition)" and booting into that results in the blank screen. If I boot into the old boot menu item, which appears directly below the line I mentioned above, Fedora boots and indicates that it has been updated. The list of installed updates appears to be the apps that I updated. Can I get rid of the first line in the boot menu, and how would I do that? I am new to Fedora, so detailed advice is greatly appreciated! I am also posting on the Fedora project site. Mike
