I used to use a bridgemate II server (www.brigemate.com) attached to the USB port for years successfully. Since a recent upgrade, the server is not properly recognized any more. When starting the bridgemate control program it hangs until windows says "the application does not respond". Funny enough, when I detach the bridgemate server from the USB port, the control program comes back to live. When I plug in the server again, the control program freezes again.

I am aware of https://kb.parallels.com/en/111725 and https://kb.parallels.com/en/122993 which does not solve my problem. Windows shows a serial port COM3 whenever the bridgemate server is plugged in, and connected to Windows (not Mac OS). Windows reports that the device is working properly. But unfortunately, it doesn't. Besides the configuration listed below, I have also tried thee same with a Windows 7 on the same Mac, and with Windows 10 on another Mac (also Parallels 13.3.0). Neither work. When I attach the same bridgemate server to another laptop running Windows natively, it actually works. I have sent technical data for which I have got the shown problem id.

    Any suggestions? Thank you!

Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac Home Edition, Version 13.3.0
    macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.3
Windows 10 Pro, Version 1709, OS Build 16299.248
