Hi We lost power this morning and when I rebooted Parallels wouldn't start.
"The virtual Hard Disk 0 has wrong access permissions or is used with another virtual machine." (Check and correct permissions or stop another virtual machine). How can I correct permissions please? If I click on OK I get "Unable to connect to Hard Disk 0. A file or device required for the operation of Hard Disk 0 does not exist or is used by another process.... Obviously some flag was not reset when the machine stopped but I don't know how to proceed. Any advice please?

Hi Shatish - thanks for the guidance. Actually (before your reply because I was anxious to get on with work) I closed down the MAC and then restarted. All clear now. However and altho I have no snapshots if I try to edit the virtual disk I receive a message saying I cannot because there are snapshots. Is there a similar process to KB 122983 to clear this please?
