    Hi,
I am trying to free up disk space and a search for large files reported the two files in the picture. Studying the information on both files, it would appear that one is my old Win7 HDD and the other is the current Win10 PVM file. However, the info box on the Win7 HDD shows last modification today.

Are both files necessary and, if so, is it normal for Parallels to take up over 90GB on a Mac?

I would appreciate any information anyone may have.

    Thanks! Screen Shot 2019-05-19 at 2.45.52 PM.jpg

  2. Hi, Parallels virtual machine takes as much disk space as you have data in your virtual machine.
Hard drive size could be 32 gb or 132 gb. You can also check your VM for the snapshot an remove it (if you don't need it)
For more information about VM size please check this KB article
Please let us know if you have any additional questions
